Bakels RTR Pettinice fondant is the icing the professionals prefer as it gives a superior finish and is the best suited to our climate. It tastes great, has a smooth texture and does not tear easily. Bakels fondant is available in a great range of colours, so you don't have the hassle of colouring yourself. Create a smooth, clean finish on your cake or use smaller quantities to create fondant decorations and trims. To lighten the colour, just add white fondant.
Bakels fondant can be coloured with Wilton or Americolor Gel colours and flavoured with Lorann Oils.
Instructions for Use:
- Prepare your cake surface with a thin layer of buttercream icing, ganache or piping gel.
- Remove the quantity of Bakels RTR pettinice fondant required and reseal pack.
- Knead lightly and roll out to a thickness of 3-6mm using cornstarch for dusting or lightly coat bench with good quality shortening.
- Cover cake with the Bakels Fondant, rub smooth and trim excess.
-You can repair any imperfections or cracks by rubbing a small amount of Crisco or shortening onto the surface.
